The Bradford Textile Society Competition-
Safari Adventure

This collection, entitled ‘Safari Adventure’ is a group of Junior shirt and t-shirt designs for The Bradford Textile Society Competition 2020.  I created a number of conversational prints and fun compositions, designing with fashion brand Paul Smith in mind. I have incorporated the brands signature stripes, in order to in keep with the companies style. My focus on safari animals, has allowed me to design interesting and exciting outcomes suitable for children, showcasing my drawing and Photoshop skills.
As a result of this entry, I was awarded 3rd Prize in the competition.

Nueva Vida

Nueva Vida is a bold and playful collection designed for a Mallorcan house renovation project. With the purpose of creating a utopian escape, I have taken inspiration from holiday memories and traditional Mallorcan designs to build my collection. The following images showcase my design ideas and development processes taken for this concept.

Stephen Walters Jacquard Competition- Disfigured Direction

Competition entry for the design brief of woven textiles brand ‘Stephen Walters’.  Inspired by Japanese textiles, I have created an innovative approach to the uniformity of geometrics, by creating designs with irregularly and movement, which can be applied to soft furnishings for a spring interiors collection.

Bespoke & custom made tropical floral cushions

Using a unique piece of art, created through hand drawing and painting techniques, I developed a set of bespoke custom made cushions. From the initial concept, through to the creation of the product itself, I have translated my ideas into a repeating print using Adobe Photoshop.

The balance of tones help to enhance the mark making qualities and intricate detail of the original drawings. Printed onto a beautiful chenille base fabric, it creates a luxurious touch and aesthetic. The deep green shades provide a level of sophistication, which is complimented by the pops of orange found in the tropical flower buds.
